Tickets for the evening performance at Wembley’s Boxpark on November 27 are from just £5 for everyone else — followed by a free ‘DJ takeover’ open to all.
“We are looking forward to meeting our new neighbours for an evening of music-making,” the orchestra’s director Sarah Bardwell said. “The concert is our first appearance since we moved our headquarters to Wembley Park.”
The Philharmonic relocated in October to the aptly-named Allegro Lane.

The programme spans more than a century of Christmas music, from the Overture to Tchaikovsky’s famous Nutcracker ballet to Taylor Swift’s Christmas Tree Farm, blending tradition with contemporary sounds.
It has timeless popular songs from White Christmas and Winter Wonderland to Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You that holds a world record for topping the Billboard Hot 100 four years running.
Wham!’s Last Christmas, which topped the charts in 2023, is also in the programme — some 39 years after its release!

The concert conducted by Stephen Bell features singer Sumudu Jayatilaka, known for her collaborations with Burt Bacharach, Dionne Warwick and Van Morrison. The evening also has lively audience ‘singalong’ moments.
Wembley Park’s head of cultural programming Claudio Giambrone said: “This concert has festive music spanning 130 years, performed by the world-famous Royal Philharmonic at Wembley’s Boxpark for the first time. We are bringing the arts to diverse and unexpected places, making culture accessible to everyone.”

The ‘Royal Phil’ is one of the world’s most prestigious orchestras with its 45 professional musicians putting on around 200 concerts each season and a worldwide live online audience of 60 million as a ‘cultural ambassador’ for the UK on the world stage.
The two-hour November 27 concert starts 7pm, followed by a free Christmas DJ ‘takeover’ open to everyone. Doors open at 5.30pm. The standing-room event is wheelchair-friendly and includes limited seating.
Tickets are now on sale from £5 (youngsters up to 18 free) on the “Christmas-concert” page of the wembleypark.com website.
