Police were called to Armfield Crescent at around 9pm last night (October 30).
Officers arrived with paramedics who treated a 17-year-old boy before taking him to hospital.
His injuries are neither life-threatening nor changing.
There have been no arrests with police appealing to the public for further information.
Pictures at the time showed a large contingent of officers nearby on Mitcham Fair Green after marching down Western Road.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “On Thursday, 30 October at 21:11hrs police were called to reports of a stabbing at Armfield Crescent, Mitcham.
“Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a 17-year-old boy before taking him to hospital. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue and anyone with information that may assist police is asked to call 101 quoting CAD 7646/30OCT25.”
