Returning for the first time in six years on November 1, Blackheath Fireworks is set to be one of south east London’s most popular events this weekend, attended by over 30,000 people.
Organised by Slammin’ Events, the evening will feature live DJ sets, a bustling 100-metre bar, over 30 food stalls and entertainment including live DJs.
As a result of this largescale event, 11 roads will be closed in and around Blackheath, affecting driving and bus routes in the area, along with parking restrictions in place.
Road closures will be in place from 3:30pm on Saturday and will remain until after the event has finished at 10:30pm.

- Blackheath Village – between Montpelier Vale and Lee Road
- Duke Humphrey Road – whole road
- Goffers Road – whole road
- Hare and Billet Road – whole road
- Lee Road – between Blackheath Village and Lee Terrace
- Montpelier Row – between South Row and Montpelier Vale
- Montpelier Vale – between Montpelier Row and Blackheath Village
- Prince Charles Road – between Shooters Hill Road and Montpelier Row
- Royal Parade – whole road
- Talbot Place – whole road
- Tranquil Vale – whole road
Parking restrictions will also be in place on Saturday from 10am, with some areas limited from October 28 until November 5 to allow for event setup and breakdown.
