Police were initially called to St Stephens Road yesterday (October 27) at 9.20pm to reports of a shooting.
A man in his 20s was treated at the scene for gunshot injuries.
He was taken to hospital where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
Another man, also in his 20s, later presented himself at hospital with gunshot injuries.
These were also found to be neither life-threatening nor life-changing.
No arrests have been made at this stage but police continue to investigate.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Around 21:20hrs on Monday, 27 October, officers attended St Stephens Road, Tower Hamlets, with the London Ambulance Service, following reports of a shooting.
“A man in his 20s was treated at the scene for gunshot injuries. He was taken to hospital, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening and non-life-changing.
“Another man, aged in his 20s, later presented at hospital with gunshot injuries. These have also been declared neither life-changing nor life-threatening.
“No arrests have been made at this stage, and police are making enquiries. Specialist detectives have been assigned to the investigation.”
