The initiative took place on Wednesday, October 22, as part of Operation Guardian, a wider effort to address antisocial behaviour and serious violence across Harlow.
The council’s community safety and licensing teams conducted high-visibility patrols and engaged with individuals in known problem areas.
They also carried out compliance checks on licensed premises.
While only minor issues were identified, officers worked with licence holders to offer guidance and outline corrective actions.
Follow-up visits will be carried out to ensure these matters are resolved.
Councillor Joel Charles, who is responsible for public protection, said: “Harlow Council is committed to tackling antisocial behaviour and crime.
“Support is being provided to ensure the town centre remains a place where people feel safe to live, work and visit at all times.”
Operation Guardian is a collaborative effort between Harlow Council, Essex Police, the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner’s office, and GS Guards.
The scheme includes regular patrols and at least four planned days of action.
It will be reviewed in 2026 to ensure it continues to meet its goals for community safety.
