Martin Crowe, originally from Ireland, entered the competition, run by BOTB, for just 22p.
The 59-year-old, who has been battling health issues and is not working, was shocked when presenter Christian Williams revealed his prize.
Mr Crowe said: “I can’t believe this.
“This has been my dream car for years.
“It’s beautiful.
“A friend of mine had one, and I only drove it once, but I didn’t want to get out of it.”
The new Range Rover Sport D350 Autobiography is described as one of the most desirable luxury SUVs on the market, boasting a 350-horsepower diesel engine, refined interior, and cutting-edge technology.
Having been without a car for three years, Mr Crowe said the win will make a “huge difference” to his life.
He added: “I watch videos of all the winners each week and dreamt of winning myself.
“This will change my life.”
Despite it being his dream car, Mr Crowe is considering taking the cash alternative instead to buy a more modest vehicle and travel back to Ireland to visit family.
BOTB presenter Christian Williams said: “What an incredible moment for Martin.
“He’s had a really tough few years and hasn’t had a car for some time, so to hand him the keys to one of the most luxurious SUVs on the road was a real privilege.
“The best part is, as a BOTB Pass member, he didn’t even realise he’d been automatically entered.
“His reaction was pure disbelief and joy.
“It’s a life-changing prize and one Martin truly deserves.”
BOTB hands over the keys to a dream car each week, alongside lifestyle prizes.
Founded in 1999, the company has given away prizes to more than 508,000 people, including £114 million worth of cars.
It is currently offering people the chance to win a luxury four-bedroom home in Essex worth £1.3 million in a competition costing just £1.
