CellfoneCity on Greens End was raided by police last Thursday (October 16) at 10am after a search warrant was executed.
Seven people, all suspected to be working at the shop, were arrested at the scene on suspicion of handling stolen goods.
Previous reports from the News Shopper revealed that the majority of the 2,000 phones found were believed to have been stolen.
Officers discovered a secret room hidden behind a wall panel in the basement that contained a large number of mobiles and electronic devices.

Greenwich Council has now revealed that the shop has had a history of non-compliance with legal requirements.
In November 2024, the council identified and seized 208 vapes at the shop which did not meet legal requirements.
Then in May 2025, a staff member at the mobile repair shop was alleged to have sold a vape to an underage test purchaser.
The council has also now revealed that after a secret room was discovered by officers during the raid, 21 illegal vapes were seized which did not have the correct safety warnings on them.
Along with this, 480 electrical chargers which did not have the required traceability markings and appeared unsafe to use were also seized.
Around 840 Samsung labels were found at the premises which were not authorised by Samsung, which the council believes it indicates that the business were falsely labelling phones as new or refurbished.
Officers also seized 193 Princess Aerocraft Toys as they did not meet toy safety requirements and were poorly made.
The Metropolitan Police previously said another secret compartment was discovered containing an estimated £50,000 worth of gaming consoles.
Apple confirmed that a number of phones, accessories and packaging were counterfeit.
It was part of a London-wide operation which involved raiding more than 120 shops on October 14 and 16, all of which suspected of buying items stolen from major retailers and reselling them at discounted prices.
Police are applying for a closure order against the business.
Councillor Rachel Taggart-Ryan, Cabinet Member for Community Safety and Enforcement said: “Our Trading Standards team are committed to taking unsafe products off our streets, so the result of this seizure is a positive one.
“The safety and health of our residents is our number one priority, and businesses need to be held accountable and face the serious consequences if legal requirements and safety standards are not followed.
“This is not the first time CellFoneCity have failed to comply with regulations put in place to protect customers, despite the council providing them with guidance and support.”
