Romford Shopping Hall, in Market Place, is hosting three family-friendly Halloween activities during half-term, including its long-running “trick or treat hunt”.
The annual event sees families follow a map around the shopping hall, collecting goodies from shop owners and taking photos with inflatable ghouls along the way.
All ages can take part between 10am and 3pm on Thursday (October 30), with tickets available on Eventbrite at £3 per child.

Other events during half-term include three tutu making workshops on Tuesday (October 28) where children can craft their own costume ready for trick-or-treating.
The following day, crafting sessions will run from 10am, with the choice monster puppets, pumpkin baskets and witch plates to make.
Romford Shopping Hall owner Michelle Petty encouraged customers to support the family-run and independent businesses at the centre by joining in the activities, with “something for everyone”.
She told the Recorder: “Fancy dress is positively encouraged – join us for some fun and spooktacular events this half-term.
“We can’t wait to meet you all and your little monsters this Halloween.”
