On June 14 it is alleged that two teenagers armed with slingshots shot five pigeons on Southborough Lane, Bromley.
They then kicked the birds and bashed them to death, court documents allege.
Boys aged 13 and 14 have been charged with causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal.
They also charged with possessing an offensive weapon in public – slingshots – and causing criminal damage to the shopfront of an estate agents on Southborough Lane.
They are due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court later this week.
