The branch on Brighton Road reopened today (October 17) following an extensive revamp.
It now has new features including an expanded “food to go” section, a dedicated John Lewis click-and-collect desk, and more car parking spaces.
Branch manager John Hickton, who leads a team of 58, said: “Just in time to celebrate our 54th anniversary, it is my great pleasure to welcome customers to the new and improved Waitrose Coulsdon. Thank you to the team behind the transformation.”
Customers can also order home deliveries through Deliveroo, Just Eat, and UberEats.
The store’s upgrade forms part of Waitrose’s nationwide £1 billion investment programme, which includes new openings and refurbishments across the country.
Waitrose Coulsdon is open from 7.30am to 9pm on Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 8pm on Saturday, and 10am to 4pm on Sunday.
