The West Essex Health & Care Conference, organised in partnership with WorkReady, is due to take place on Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
It will see those in the health and care sector, as well as local government, explore the development of a sustainable, skilled local workforce while navigating ongoing reforms.
The event, at the Civic Offices in Epping, will run from 9am to 12pm, with a networking breakfast and lunch included.
Epping Forest district councillor Holly Whitbread, who is responsible for finance and economic development, will be a keynote speaker at the conference.
She said: “This is a great opportunity for local businesses to collaborate on building a local workforce from the talent within our district.”
The conference will also include panel sessions on topics such as community networks and workforce skills.
Cllr Kaz Rizvi, who is responsible for community health and wellbeing, said: “This conference is a significant step in delivering our Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
“By working alongside our partners to improve the health and wellbeing of our residents, we ensure that we are supporting our local health and care businesses, who in turn help improve the lives of our residents.”
