Jaroslaw Jadwidzic was working at a bus stop in Uxbridge Road when he was hit by a parked van on October 15, 2023.
The crash, involving a black Mercedes, took place at approximately 5.50am at the junction with Greenford Road.
The 46-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries but died on October 24.
His wife, Mariola, said: “The death of Jaroslaw has had a huge impact on my life because I lost one of the most important people to me, what I feel every day is indescribable.
“I want justice for what happened and for those responsible to admit to what they have done.
“If you know or saw what happened, please come forward and tell the police.”
The vehicle reportedly overtook a bus before colliding with a van parked near the Iron Bridge bus stop.
Mr Jadwidzic was at the bus stop when he was struck by the van.
The driver and a passenger of the Mercedes, both believed to be male, fled the scene before officers arrived.
A man, thought to have been in the car, was arrested near the scene on the day of the incident on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
He was later released with no further action.
Two other men have been arrested in connection with this incident – one on October 16, 2023, and another on December 14, 2023 – and both have been released under investigation.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigative Unit are keen to speak to any potential witnesses who may have been on the bus or at the bus stop at the time of the incident.
Detective Sergeant Nush Puvitharan from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the loved ones of Jaroslaw who are still waiting for answers around this death.
“Investigators have been working on this for two years to try and piece together the details leading up to the collision.
“There were members of the public in the area at the time of the collision who we haven’t been able to identify and who haven’t spoken to us.
“We’d urge anyone who was a witness to please come forward, even the smallest bit of information could make a difference in this investigation.”
Specialist officers have continued to support the family of Mr Jadwidzi.
