The number of changes and the long time since the submission consultation last autumn mean it has been agreed that a further short public consultation be held on the Epping Town Neighbourhood Development Plan.
After being initially reviewed by an independent examiner, Epping town council put forward a number of suggested changes to both the policies and supporting text.
Despite the examiner’s assurance the proposed changes are not significant or alter the plan’s intent, a further period of consultation has been agreed.
This is because of the number of changes and the time elapsed since the original consultation last autumn.
Residents can take part in the consultation until 5pm on Monday, November 3.
The council only wants comments on the proposed changes, as previous comments made at the submission stage will be carried forward.
For more information about the plan, the public can visit the Epping Forest District Council website under the Epping Town Neighbourhood Plan, further consultation section.
Alternatively, interested parties can obtain more information and response forms at the reception desks of the Epping Forest District Council Civic Offices and Epping Library.
The documents can also be physically viewed at the reception desks of the district council offices and Epping Library.
