Lewis Macleod, 36, of Hadleigh Road, Sunderland appeared in Inner London Crown Court today (October 13).
Police were called to a disturbance involving a group of men just before 3am on September 13.
A man was taken to hospital with serious injuries where he died on September 17.
He has been named as Michael John Edwards, 43, of Nuneaton in Warwickshire.
Macleod has previously been charged with causing grievous bodily harm but this changed to manslaughter following Michael’s death.
A trial will begin at Inner London Crown Court on Monday, April 13, 2026.
