Emergency services were called to Meadow View Road in Croydon yesterday (October 11) at around 9:31am.
A man in his 30s was taken to hospital with stab wounds, where his injuries were assessed as non-life-threatening.
A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and currently remains in police custody.
Police are urging any witnesses to come forward.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “At 21:31hrs on Saturday, 11 October, police were called to a report of a man with stab wounds on Meadow View Road, Croydon.
“A man in his 30s was treated at the scene and taken to hospital where he was assessed to have non-life-threatening injuries.
“Officers arrested a man in his 20s on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody.
“An investigation is ongoing.
