Officially named the best Asian takeaway in the UK this week at the ARTA 2025, Kaani Kaana in St Marys Lane is, perhaps unsurprisingly, Havering’s top rated place for a curry.
From over 190 Google reviews, the Indian and Bangladeshi takeaway spot has a five out of five star average rating.
This branch only opened in April and prides itself on lesser known heritage dishes according to founder Sadiq Ahmed.
He said: “We go to our local suppliers to hand pick the fresh meat that we want and although it takes a lot of effort, we know that the quality will be better and there will be nothing out there like it.”
Kaani Kaana’s most recent Google reviewer described the food as “amazing”.
