A recently closed Starbucks shop in the heart of Ilford has been put on the market and is available to rent.
The property at 225-227 High Road has been advertised as available to let by estate agents and chartered surveyors Taylor Freeman Kataria (TKF) for £80,000 per year.
The branch stopped trading this week.
A Starbucks spokesperson told the Recorder on October 2: “We regularly review our portfolio to ensure our stores are relevant for our customers.

“We thank our customers for their loyalty over the years.”
TKF describe the building as being situated in a “prime trading location” in High Road just outside of the pedestrianised section at its junction with Hainault Street.
Notable nearby High Street brand names include Greggs, KFC and McDonalds.

It adds that the ground floor is made up of 2,710 square feet of space whilst the basement is made up of 2,327 sq.ft totalling 5,037 sq.ft overall.

The Starbucks spokesperson added: “Our store at 88 High Road was closed recently for a few days for a refurbishment and has now reopened.
“We look forward to welcoming the local community back to enjoy a new and improved store experience.”
Last Thursday, the chain launched a consultation looking at proposed closures of UK stores.
The chain said it is planning to close sites where it has not been able to “create the physical environment customers want”, and where they are not sustainably profitable.
There are currently 520 company-owned stores in the UK, as well as a number of franchise-owned coffee shops.
Despite the proposed closures, the coffee chain said it is still on track to open 80 new stores in the UK.
