A disability charity that helps people in West Essex has thanked supporters who helped it pay for a new minibus.
Accuro has said a big thank you to The Cherry Foundation, MAG (Stansted Airport), and The Axis Foundation for funding the new specially adapted vehicle.
The minibus will allow more children, young people, and adults with disabilities across West Essex to participate in activities, make friends, and boost confidence in a safe and inclusive environment.
Accuro CEO Simran Foote said: “This minibus is going to open up so many more opportunities for the people we support.
“We’re hugely grateful to our funders for making it possible.”
Accuro also extended a special thanks to their major funder, The Cherry Foundation.
Bosses said the significant support from the funder made the project possible, alongside generous contributions from MAG Stansted Airport and The Axis Foundation.
Maggie Sutton, chair of the Stansted Airport Community Fund, added: “We’re absolutely delighted to support Accuro with a £5,000 donation towards their new minibus.
“It’s fantastic to see the difference it will make, helping more people with disabilities across West Essex get out and about, build friendships, and feel part of their community.”
