Named SL13, the bus would connect Hendon and Ealing Broadway via Brent Cross and Neasden.
The Superloop is currently a network of 10 express bus routes designed to improve connections and journey times between key outer London town centres and transport hubs.
The first Superloop route was launched in June 2023, with transport bosses set to launch consultations on a further three routes.
The latest proposals released by TfL show the SL13 route starting at Hendon War Memorial and finishing at Haven Green. Along the route it would serve Neasden Town Centre, Stonebridge Station and the key North Circular Road junction near IKEA, Tesco, and Neasden Temple.
Londoners are being asked to have their say on the plans, which include proposed changes to the existing E7, 112 and 232 bus routes.
TfL is looking to run the service seven days a week between 5am and 12:30am, with buses coming every 12 minutes during Monday to Saturday daytimes and every 15 minutes in the evenings, as well as on Sundays and early morning weekdays.
The E7 bus currently operates between Ruislip Station and Haven Green. If the SL13 proposals go ahead, TfL wants to extend the section of the route in Ealing further along New Broadway in order to serve The Mall and Uxbridge Road – with a new start and end point at Hanger Lane. The section of its route between Ruislip Station and New Broadway would not change, however, it would no longer run via Spring Bridge.
There would also be changes to the frequency of the three existing bus services, with the E7 running every 15 minutes during Monday to Saturday daytimes instead of every 15 minutes. The 112 would operate every 12 minutes between the same times instead of every ten minutes and every 15 minutes instead of every 12 minutes during early mornings, in the evening and on Sundays.
The 232 bus, between St Raphael’s Estate and Turnpike Lane, would actually increase in frequency, with buses operating every 15 minutes across all early mornings instead of every 20 or 30 minutes. The consultation is now live and will remain open until October 25.
London Assembly Member for Brent and Harrow, Krupesh Hirani AM, said: “I am delighted that TfL has listened to local residents and to my calls for Neasden Town Centre, Stonebridge Station, and the North Circular Road to be included in the SL13 proposals.
“It will make Neasden Town Centre, the Temple and shops much more accessible for communities across Brent. I’m urging everyone to get involved with the consultation and help deliver this new bus route for the local area.”
