Kyrone Moodie, 27, was fatally shot on New Park Road at around 8.50pm on Monday, September 8.
Police and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found Kyrone and a 20-year-old man with gunshot wounds.
Both were taken to hospital, but despite the best efforts of medical staff, Kyrone died in the early hours of Tuesday, September 9.
His family, who described him as a “loving family man,” are being supported by specialist officers.
The second victim has since been discharged from hospital.
Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances of Kyrone’s death and are urging anyone in the New Park Road area that evening to check and share any doorbell or CCTV footage “as a matter of urgency.”
In a statement, Kyrone’s family said: “Kyrone was a loving family man. He was genuine and determined.
“He helped everyone he could.
“Kyrone was just a humble, funny and God-worshiping family orientated man.”
