Leslie Palmer, 60, of Widmore Road, has a history of committing child sex offences.
Three years ago he received a suspended prison sentence and was given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) after he was caught engaging in sexual conversations with young girls.
Palmer is now behind bars after he was caught doing the same thing again.
On August 31 he was confronted by paedophile hunters who revealed that the ‘child’ Palmer had been speaking to was actually a decoy account.
Palmer was arrested and was charged with two counts of attempting to breach his SHPO and one count of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
He appeared at Croydon Magistrates’ Court on September 2 where he pleaded guilty to the three offences.
Palmer was remanded in custody until he is sentenced.
