The pair packed Class A and B drugs, weapons and mobile phones into the cartons and flew the packages over prison walls using a purpose-built drone programmed to take it as close as possible to prisoners’ cell windows.
Scott, 27, of Limpsfield Avenue, has been jailed for six years whilst White, 18, of Nutfield Road, was given a one year and 11 month suspended sentence.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Ian Bradshaw said: “Having drugs, weapons and mobile phones illegally brought into prisons makes the work of prison officers much harder than it already is.

“Weapons in prisons also put inmates at a much higher risk of serious injury or even death, along with the obvious risk which is posed to prison staff.
“Scott and White went to great lengths to conceal their offending, and put together intricate plans to bring these items into prisons. I hope that this case demonstrates that whatever lengths offenders go to, they will be caught and brought to justice.”
