PizzaExpress reopened today (August 29) following a recent remodel, offering customers its pizzas and new summer menu items.
The newly refurbished site features a gold vinyl illustration by Italian designer Enzo Apicella, inspired by the brand’s heritage, as well as lighting that highlights Croydon’s tram history.
The restaurant’s central banquet area also showcases a copper map of the local tram network.
PizzaExpress say the new remodel coincides with the launch of its summer menu, which includes Hawaiian Hot Dough Balls, the Calabrian Feast, Buffalo Chicken Wings, a Birthday Cake Sundae, and a collaboration with UK sauce brand The Sauce Shop.
The menu also features vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, alongside the children’s Piccolo menu.
For pizza lovers, Pizza O’Clock offers 90 minutes of unlimited pizza and Dough Balls for £17.50 per person, with £10 per child.
The experience encourages guests to enjoy tabletop games in a phone-free zone.
General Manager Gabor Horvath said: “We’re excited to reopen our doors in Croydon.
“The restaurant looks fantastic, and we’ve created a space that is perfect for a post-shop meal or a pre-movie cocktail.
“Our new look pairs perfectly with our new summer menu and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to our restaurant.”
