The London Fire Brigade was alerted to the incident in Dennises Lane at 10.50am this morning (August 28).
Five fire engines and 35 firefighters were dispatched to the scene in response, from stations across Hornchurch, Wennington and Dagenham.

The fire had broken out at a scrap yard, destroying five scrap cars and damaging a caravan, hedgerow and a fence.
There were no injuries reported and the fire was brought under control by 12.36pm.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire.
