The Liverpool-born tribute band, who last performed at Fairfield Halls in 2023, will bring their new two-hour show to the historic venue on September 12 as part of their 2025 UK theatre tour.
This tour celebrates the 60th anniversary of The Beatles’ 1965 albums Help! and Rubber Soul, as well as their iconic Shea Stadium concert – the first-ever stadium rock show.

Steven Howard, who performs as Paul McCartney in the band, said: “Audiences at our shows always include people who were at The Beatles’ shows back in the day.
“They are up on their feet dancing from the very first song – just like they were in 1963.
“So, Croydon… get your dancing shoes on!”
The Mersey Beatles will perform songs from every era of The Beatles’ career, from their early hits to the psychedelic sounds of Sgt.
Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and beyond.
The show also holds special significance for Fairfield Halls, which hosted two sold-out Beatles concerts in 1963 at the height of Beatlemania.
The Mersey Beatles are Mark Bloor (John), Steven Howard (Paul), Craig McGown (George), and Brian Ambrose (Ringo).
They spent a decade as the resident tribute band at Liverpool’s Cavern Club, playing more than 600 shows before launching their international touring career.
Mark Bloor, who performs as John Lennon, said: “We had an absolute ball when we played Fairfield Halls in 2023 and we cannot wait to return on September 12.
“It’s going to be another amazing night at this beautiful and historic venue.”
The Mersey Beatles have built a global following for their authentic and energetic performances, capturing the sound, style, and spirit of the Fab Four.
Their return to Fairfield Halls offers fans a chance to relive the magic of The Beatles in the very venue where history was made more than 60 years ago.
Tickets for the show are available now through the Fairfield Halls website.
