Popeyes will be welcoming customers to its new branch on Eltham High Street from 11am on Wednesday, August 27.
The Eltham opening will be the 32nd Popeyes to launch in the UK this year alone.
The first three customers at the new Eltham branch will win free chicken sandwiches for a year, while the first 50 will get exclusive Popeyes merchandise.
The first 100 people through the doors will also be treated to a free chicken sandwich.
The New Orleans-born fast-food restaurant chain is known for its long queues on opening days, with branches in Woolwich and Greenwich Retail Park attracting hundreds of people for their first taste of the chicken.
Those hoping to try the food at the new Eltham branch are advised to arrive early to avoid missing out.
Popeyes will also be serving breakfast from 8am until 10am every day, with the menu including a breakfast meal deal for just £1.99.
The breakfast meal deal includes a bacon roll, a Cajun hash brown, and a drink, and can be claimed exclusively through the Popeyes UK app.
The Eltham branch will have both dine-in and takeaway options available, with menu favourites including the chicken sandwich, hot wings, tenders, and signature chicken wraps.
The new hot honey chicken sandwich will also be available from opening day, following huge demand from fans for its return to the menu.
The sandwich is joined by the return of the hot honey range, featuring the brand-new hot honey saucin’ boneless, the return of hot honey saucin’ wings, and the hot honey box meal.
The new restaurant will be located at 65 Eltham High Street, London, SE9 1YS, and brings 40 new jobs to the area.
It will have 66 seats inside, self-service kiosks, and collection points for orders made online via the Popeyes UK website or official app.
Tom Crowley, Popeyes UK CEO, said: “We can’t wait to open our first Popeyes in Eltham, right on the High Street – marking our 10th opening in London this year.
“The love for our Louisiana chicken just keeps growing, and we can’t wait to bring a taste of New Orleans to a new area.”
