South east London as a whole saw a 2.6 per cent increase in reported crime from 11,752 offences in June to 12,166 in July.
Southwark had the highest number of reported offences, with a total of 3,493, which was down slightly from 3,528 in June.
Violence against the person accounted for most cases with 1,325 reports, while theft was the next most common with 830 reports.
Drug offences saw an increase of 25, rising from 146 to 171, and both public order offences and sexual offences also increased.
Burglary, vehicle offences, and robbery all saw a decrease.
Lewisham, the smallest borough in south east London, came second in the list of the most reported offences last month, with a total of 2,571 offences reported.
There were more than 874 cases of violence against the person, and 529 reports of theft.
Both public order offences and vehicle offences were the next two most reported cases, with 215 reports made on both.
Greenwich was the third most reported borough with 2,491 cases reported, just 80 less than Lewisham.
A total of 808 reports were made of violence against the person and 594 were made of theft.
225 cases of vehicle offences were registered, as well 212 public order offences.
The borough with the fourth most criminal reports was the largest of them all: Bromley with 2,211 – up by 11 per cent from June.
Violence against the person and theft were both up from June and were the main contributors to the borough’s crime count.
Despite the overall rise, burglary, robbery, and possession of weapons saw a slight decrease.
Bexley, the second largest of all these boroughs, registered the lowest crime count in south east London last month.
Bexley saw just a 1.7 per cent increase in reported crime to 1,400.
448 reports were made about violence against the person and 279 for theft.
Vehicle offences, burglaries, miscellaneous crimes against society, and robberies all saw a decrease in reports compared to June.
