The “Alpro Kids Hero Play Zone,” is free to enter and is up and running until September 3.
It offers a real-life version of Alpro’s online Hero game.
Free sensory-friendly sessions offer inclusive fun at Alpro Play Zone (Image: Bluewater) The activity is open to children aged between four and 11 who will receive a hero mask and a sticker, and can sample Alpro’s new products.
The event has eight sessions each hour, with a maximum of 10 participants per session.
For children with sensory sensitivities, a special session is held daily from 9am to 10am, Monday to Saturday, and from 10am to 11am on Sundays.
Daily sessions let young visitors become heroes for a day (Image: Bluewater) James Waugh, the centre director at Bluewater, said: “We know that keeping little ones entertained throughout the holidays can be a challenge, so it’s great to offer a free, family-friendly experience for our guests.
“After conquering the Play Zone, guests can explore the centre’s beautiful parkland and lakes on our free nature trail or visit one of our many family-friendly eateries to complete a memorable day out at Bluewater this summer.”
The play zone is inspired by Alpro’s online game, with children participating in an inflatable assault course, earning a hero mask and sticker, and tasting Alpro’s latest products.
Nathalie Vandeweerd, Alpro’s senior brand manager, said: “Developing the Alpro Kids Hero Play Zone has been an exciting opportunity to show how brand experiences can connect with families in meaningful ways.
“By bringing the Alpro Hero game into a live, interactive space, we’re helping to introduce the new Alpro Kids range in a way that feels both engaging and memorable.”
She encourages families to join the fun, taste the adventure, and “be a Hero this summer.”
