Police were called to Neasden Lane, near the junction with Dudden Hill Lane, on Sunday (August 17) at 5.58pm.
At the scene, a 73-year-old woman was pronounced dead.
Enquiries are underway to inform her next of kin.
No arrests have been made at this time, but the driver is assisting police with enquiries.
The road was shut for hours as investigations initially took place.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at 17:58hrs on Sunday, 17 August following reports of a serious road traffic collision in Neasden, Brent.
“Officers were joined by the London Ambulance Service at the junction of Neasden Lane with Dudden Hill Lane, where a bus had been in collision with a pedestrian.
“Sadly, despite the best efforts of emergency services, a 73-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Enquiries are underway to inform her next of kin.
“No arrests have been made at this time, however the driver is fully assisting police with enquiries which are ongoing.
“Road closures that remained in place have now been removed.”
