Ocean Basket announced today (August 14) that its restaurant on 12-13 Market Square will be closing for good this Sunday (August 17).
Bromley was where Ocean Basket made its debut in February 2022.
It has since opened another branch in Kingston, which is still open.
In a heartfelt video posted on Facebook, they captioned: “Bromley, you’ll always be out first.”
The owners expressed their gratitude to everyone who has supported, dined, worked, served, or cooked alongside them over the past three years.
The full statement reads: “We have shared seafood feasts, laughter, and special moments with you.
“It’s time for us to say farewell to Bromley.
“Our Bromley restaurant will be closing its doors on 17 August.
“To everyone who supported us, dined with us, worked with us, served with us, cooked with us, and been part of our Bromley family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
“You’ve made every day here unforgettable.
“The great news… our team at Ocean Basket Kingston are ready to welcome you with open arms, warm smiles, and all your seafood favourites.”
