Skinner, known for his appearance on The Apprentice in 2019, is the tenth celebrity announced for the 2025 season of the popular show.
The series will make its return to BBC One and BBC iPlayer in September, with Skinner taking part alongside a host of other famous faces.
Speaking about the news, Skinner said: “I’m beyond excited to be joining Strictly Come Dancing.
“I’ve tackled the boardroom and some big breakfasts in my time, but stepping onto the dance floor under that glitter ball is next level stuff.
“I’ve never danced in my life (other than at weddings) but I’m ready to graft and, of course, have a laugh.
“Bring on the sequins, sambas and most importantly, the bosh to the ballroom.”
He has spent much of his life on market stalls in Romford and runs several small businesses, selling everything from mattresses to gym equipment.
The TV personality has also become a social media star, with his motivational-style videos and unconventional breakfasts gaining a large following.
In 2023, he released his debut book, titled Graft – How to Smash Life.
He is also a regular on TalkSport, and in 2024, presented its men’s mental health podcast The Men’s Room with Neil Ruddock.
The news of his participation in Strictly was first teased on his social media accounts, from his favourite cafe, and later confirmed on Hits Radio with Sam Thompson.
Strictly is on BBC One and BBC iPlayer and is set to return this September.
