The school said it achieved “particularly strong performances” in maths and English A-levels, with around a third of entries achieving A* and A grades.
With these results, pupils have been able to confirm places at a number of Russell Group universities including University College London, the University of Bristol, Nottingham University, King’s College London, and Liverpool University.
Anastasia Ene, who will be the first in her family to go to university, achieved the grades she needs to read history and politics of the Americas at University College London.
She said: “I am beyond happy to have secured my firm place to study history and politics at UCL.
“My teachers have really helped me along the way and I am so grateful.”
Denzel Taninomo heads to Queen Mary for mechanical engineering (Image: Harris Rainham Sixth Form) Denzel Taninomo, who achieved one A, one B, and a Distinction*, has secured a place to read mechanical engineering at Queen Mary University of London.
He said: “I can’t believe my results.
“I’m shaking. It just doesn’t feel real.
“All of the months of hard work have paid off and I’m so happy.”
Principal Gareth Stananought said the results “provide a strong platform for us to build on in future years”.
“Whilst we have seen success across the curriculum, we have seen particularly impressive performances in the core subjects of English and maths.
“These excellent results reflect the high academic standards we have set at Harris Rainham Sixth Form and the quality of our educational provision.
“I congratulate all our students celebrating and wish them all the best as they embark on the next chapter of their education.”
