The arts and crafts retailer, which operates 115 stores in the United Kingdom, is shutting nine locations in total.
Three stores in Bromborough, Stratford upon Avon and Southport closed earlier this month on August 4, 6 and 7 respectively.
Six further closures, including the Crayford store at Tower Retail Park Crayford Road Crayford , are expected in September.
As part of the process, the company said it is holding individual meetings with staff and considering ways to avoid job losses.
It said there are open positions available in other stores, which could offer alternative roles to some employees.
The other stores set to close are in Wigan, Chichester, Stafford, Maidenhead and Kings Lynn.
Exact closure dates for these branches have not yet been confirmed by the company.
The store closures follow the company’s recent High Court approval to shut 33 branches across the United Kingdom as part of its restructuring efforts.
A spokesperson for Hobbycraft said: “We can confirm that as a result of a restructuring of the business, Hobbycraft’s Crayford store will unfortunately be closing in September. The exact closure date is still being finalised.
“We are incredibly grateful to our hardworking and dedicated colleagues at the Crayford store.
“Individual consultations will take place with all colleagues, and we will explore possible alternatives to redundancy, as we currently have a number of vacancies at other stores.
“This closure has been a necessary part of ensuring a healthy and sustainable future for Hobbycraft in an increasingly challenging retail environment.
“Dialogue continues with a number of landlords as part of the ongoing review process, with the aim of ensuring that at least 99 stores and over 1,800 colleagues can continue serving crafting communities across the UK for many years to come.
