The Metropolitan Police was called to Station Parade at 9.11pm on August 7 with reports of an incident involving a group of people.
Officers were dispatched to the scene with the London Ambulance Service (LAS), where a 14-year-old boy was found injured.
He had suffered a cut to his face and was taken to hospital.
A 13-year-old girl was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assault and has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
A spokesperson for LAS said: “We were called at 9.20pm last night (7 August) to reports of person injured in Station Parade, Barking.

“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.
“We treated a teenager at the scene and took him to hospital.”
