In a fundraiser set up for Issa, it reads: “Please donate to help our local street cleaner who has been seriously assaulted whilst doing his job with a smile.”
It continues: “This guy is a legend! He always goes above and beyond for his job and is always friendly.
“He works so hard even though mobility isn’t his strongest point, he’s a testament to independence, hard work and strength.
“Let’s let him know his work never goes unnoticed and we are forever grateful for him, and we support him.
“God bless, he’s such a bonus to the council refuse sector.”
