Dynevor Road has been cordoned off at the junction with Stoke Newington High Street all day today (August 5) since the incident at 12.20am.
Police found a man who had been shot, and he died at the scene.
A police tent has been erected at the scene and forensic officers can now be seen investigating along with police.

Tape has blocked off large stretches near Stoke Newington High Street and Dynevor Road.
Paul Orris, who was staying near the shooting, said he heard “probably three shots” at the time.
He added: “When you hear that you hang around for screams but when it’s silent…”

“We understand this incident will cause concern within the Stoke Newington community, however we do believe this to be an isolated incident at this stage of the investigation with no wider risk to the general public.
“Residents can expect to see an increased police presence in the area, along with a crime scene, as we carry out our enquiries.
“We thank them for their patience and co-operation at this time.
“We urge anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has any information that could assist us, to come forward as soon as possible.”
