Police were called around 2.30am today (August 2) to Harrow Road – which has been closed since.

They were taken to hospital where their conditions were assessed as not life-threatening or changing.

Those living nearby have said they were woken by cries for help in the street.
One, who preferred not to be named, told Brent and Kilburn Times: “I woke up when it already happened in the night around 2am. We woke up because somebody screamed ‘help call the police’.
“A few minutes later the police arrived and started to help the guy that apparently was on his bicycle when he got hurt.

“All this happened really fast and later on the police closed the streets to the public and when I got out this morning they were still there on the crime scene.”

There have been no arrests an investigation is underway. Harrow Road, part of the busy A404, has been closed since the incident.

Police are asking any witnesses to make get in touch.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Around 02:30hrs on Saturday, 2 August, police attended Harrow Road, Westminster, following reports of an altercation.
“Two men – one aged in his 40s, and the other in his 20s – were treated at the scene for injuries.
“Both were taken to hospital, where their injuries were assessed as non-life-changing and non-life-threatening.
“No arrests have been made at this early stage of the investigation. Anybody who witnessed the incident, or who has information, should call the police on 101, quoting 778/02AUG.”
