The festival will take place on Sunday, August 31, from 12pm to 7pm, in South Croydon’s vibrant Restaurant Quarter in South End.
It will once again celebrate the diverse culture of Croydon through its food, live music, and community spirit.
The festival is free to attend and will feature local bands and musicians, as well as traders from Croydon and beyond.
The event offers a range of family-friendly activities including face painting, making it an ideal outing for all ages and families.
In 2023, the event had 45 stalls to choose from, including 35 food and drink traders, a vibrant representation of authentic global flavours for visitors to try.
Jason Perry, Executive Mayor of Croydon, said: “The Food Festival has been a fantastic event year on year.
“The last one, held in 2023, welcomed 13,000 attendees, making it the largest festival in Croydon.
He added that this year the UK Shared Prosperity Fund and the Mayor’s Festival Fund are supporting the event, which will help support some of the costs around road closures and parking losses.
Croydon Food and Music Festival 2025 is organised by the independent South Croydon Business Association (SCBA) and creatively delivered by White Label Creative.
Peter Baggati, Deputy Chair of the South Croydon Business Association (SCBA), said: “We are beyond excited to bring back this treasured community event.
“Food and music are two universal things that bring people together and we aim to do just that.
He added: “We also hope this event will serve as a showcase of the diverse cuisines and talent we have in Croydon, attracting more visitors to the borough in the months to come.”
The Croydon Food & Music Festival began in 2012 as part of the Croydon Recovery Project, and since has become a much-anticipated annual event.
Over the years, the festival has grown in popularity and attendance, drawing visitors from all over Croydon and beyond.
The festival has also become a significant economic driver for the town, generating revenue for local businesses and attracting tourism to the area.
Whether you’re a foodie, a music lover, or simply looking for a fun day out with family and friends, the Croydon Food & Music Festival offers something for everyone.
