The Morgan, which temporarily closed on June 23, resumed welcoming guests on July 19 following a significant refurbishment, transforming the Marston’s pub into a revitalised community venue.
As part of the renovation, the pub now hosts two distinct sections: a bustling sports bar and a cosy family lounge.
Sports enthusiasts can enjoy match-day screenings on big-screen TVs with TNT and Sky Sports, while Thursday night patrons can benefit from a special 3 pints for £10 deal after 7pm.
The reopening celebrations at The Morgan included welcoming community champion Allison, who is known for her constant support of local causes.
The total raised and collected is then divided among the local charities she supports.
Currently, her fundraising efforts benefit Ward 21 at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woolwich, the William Temple Church Window fund, and the TYM Youth Club in Abbeywood.
The newly refurbished venue has a menu with pub favourites and a “grazers menu” for those who can’t decide.
It is conveniently positioned near Belvedere train station and other local transport paths.
Alongside being a family dining and post-work drinks spot, The Morgan also has a beer garden, children’s play area, dog-friendly spaces, electric car charging points, Amazon lockers, and free Wi-Fi.
