Police were called to the incident at the park in Upton Lane just after 10.50am yesterday (July 29).
At the scene, a man was found with stab injuries.
The 33-year-old was taken to hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening and a knife has also been recovered.
West Ham Park was closed following the attack as investigations took place.
However the park has reopened today (July 30) as normal as of 7am.
No arrests have been made at this time.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 10.54hrs on Tuesday, 29 July to reports of a man with stab wounds at West Ham Park, Newham.
“The 33-year-old was taken to hospital with injuries that are not life-threatening and a knife has been recovered.
“No arrests have been made.
