(Image: The Torch) The Torch pub in Wembley is delivering a full Oasis-themed experience for fans as part of the ongoing UK tour, with 45 per cent of the UK believing the Gallagher brothers will split before the tour ends, according to a poll by pub brand Flaming Grill.
William Botterill, head of marketing at Greene King, said: “The Oasis gigs in Manchester were nothing short of biblical and the style in the crowd was supersonic.
“As fans keep their fingers crossed for the full tour to come around without any rows, we want to ensure our customers look the part and have the Mancunian swagger and singing voice, which is why we introduced our new Manc-over service at The Torch in Wembley.
“We’re not just serving pints this summer – we’re giving Oasis lovers a pub that matches their ‘mad fer it’ vibes.”
The poll revealed that 44 per cent of Londoners are “mad fer it” ahead of the shows, and one in seven Britons (15 per cent) would back “Wonderwall” as the national anthem.
One in eight even believe Liam Gallagher should be prime minister, apparently.
The Torch is welcoming fans throughout the tour and beyond at its Bridge Road location in Wembley Park.
No booking is required for the Oasis-style “manc-overs,” but fans are encouraged to arrive by 3pm to secure their spot.
