The 14-year-old was reportedly attacked on her way home from school in Epping on July 8.
A 38-year-old man has been charged with three counts of sexual assault, one count of inciting a girl to engage in sexual activity, and one count of harassment without violence.
The fundraiser, launched on JustGiving by Shane Yerrell, aims to raise funds for trauma counselling and a short family break.
Mr Yerrell said: “I am shocked that this has happened so close to home.
“As a father myself it’s hard when you hear about incidents like this, I was felt sick when I read the story.”
He added: “Nobody deserves to be assaulted. This should never have happened
“The young girl is now too afraid to go out. That’s heartbreaking. Her family are hurting too
“As a community we need to protect our future generation and look out for them
“There’s nothing myself or anyone else can do make it any better.
“But the JustGiving page will help her to receive urgent counselling, without having to wait.
“If there is money left over then the family can take her away for a week or two to have quiet time together, while trying to rebuild her confidence.”
He concluded: “I hope that in time she gets her confidence back and is able to try and heal from this.”

The case has sparked a series of protests outside the Bell Hotel in Epping, which is currently housing asylum seekers.
On July 20, more than 100 people gathered outside the hotel, and police described the scene as turning into “mindless thuggery.”
Six people were arrested during the protest, including a 17-year-old male on suspicion of causing criminal damage to a police car.
Chief Superintendent Simon Anslow of Essex Police said: “Disappointingly we have seen yet another protest, which began peacefully, escalate into mindless thuggery with individuals again hurting one of our officers and damaging a police vehicle.
“For anyone who thinks we will tolerate their thuggery – think again.
“But our cells, which have been filling up throughout the evening, are ready for you, so don’t be in any doubt that this is where you will be sleeping.”
Epping High Road was closed for several hours due to the unrest.
