Havering Road, Collier Row incident: Police block road

Multiple Metropolitan Police vehicles were pictured in Havering Road near the junction with Moray Way at around 3.30pm today (July 21). 

A photo, obtained by the Romford Recorder, shows officers standing in front of the open rear doors of a police van. 

The van had pulled into a bus stop. 

Police parked across on side of the road (Image: Charmayne Headley) Behind the officers two police cars displaying blue lights were parked across one lane of the road, preventing traffic from moving in one direction. 

The nature of the incident is unclear at this stage.
