A man is in hospital with suspected knife injuries after a stabbing on a busy road in Dalston.
The incident happened in Kingsland High Street just after midnight yesterday (July 15).
Officers were called to the scene and found a 30-year-old woman holding a knife.
She was arrested on suspicion of possession of a weapon and has been released on bail.
A man, 24, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and is in custody.
A third person, a woman aged 19, was also arrested at the scene but released with no further action.
A 27-year-old man took himself to hospital with serious injuries thought to be from a knife.
The injuries are not life-threatening or changing.
A crime scene was in place on the High Street but has since been removed.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police Service said: “Police were called at 00:19am on Tuesday, 15 July to reports of a stabbing on Kingsland High Street, E8.
“Officers attended and found a woman, aged 30, holding a knife who was then arrested on suspicion of possession of a weapon. She has since been released on bail.
“Two other people, a man aged 24 and a woman aged 19 were also arrested at the scene.
“The male was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody.
“The woman was released with no further action.
“A man, aged 27, self-presented at hospital with serious injuries believed to be caused by a knife.
“His condition is not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.
“A crime scene was put in place, but has since closed.”
