The works, by Cadent Gas, are due to start on July 24 and are expected to last for two months.
Waltham Forest Council has issued a public notice stating that the restrictions will remain in place for a maximum of 18 months, or until the works are completed.
Temporary parking bans will be in place on the following roads:
– Acacia Road: outside Southfield Court, and between the eastern boundary of No. 84 and its junction with Cobden Road.
– Cobden Road: from outside No. 90 to its junction with Lancaster Road, and from opposite No. 90 to the boundary of Nos. 44 and 46.
– High Road Leytonstone: outside Nos. 615 to 627.
– Lancaster Road: from the boundary of No. 510 High Road Leytonstone to outside No. 12, from outside No. 14 to the railway bridge, outside Nos. 7 to 27, and from outside No. 57 to its junction with Cobden Road.
– Melford Road: outside No. 2.
– Sansom Road: from outside No. 307 to its junction with Lansdowne Road (north-south leg), adjacent to the boundary of Lansan Court (No. 10 Sansom Road), and from opposite Lansan Court to its junction with Acacia Road.
– Trinity Close: opposite Nos. 1 to 37.
Pedestrian access will also be restricted on two footpaths between Trinity Close and Melford Road, as well as between Lancaster Road and Cookes Close.
Vehicles found waiting or loading in contravention of the order will be removed.
The restrictions do not apply to vehicles being used in connection with the works or to emergency services, the council said.
Signage will be placed in advance of the works, providing more specific details on the exact dates of the prohibitions, the effects of any temporary traffic management, and diversion routes as necessary.
