Officers patrolling Enfield Retail Park discovered the injured man at around 3pm on July 12.
The man, in his 40s, had suffered significant slash wounds to his arm from a bladed weapon.
He was given emergency first aid before being taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service paramedics.
His injuries have since been confirmed as non-life changing.
A 21-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of attempted murder.
He remains in police custody at this time.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson: “On Saturday, 12 July at around 15:00hrs officers on patrol in Enfield Retail Park administered emergency first aid to a man in his 40s who had suffered significant slash wounds to his arm after being attacked with a bladed weapon.
“He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service, where his injures have been assessed as non-life changing.
“A 21-year-old man was arrested nearby on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in police custody.”
