NHS GP Patient Survey 2025: The best-rated Havering GPs

Patients across the borough have helped to rank their local doctors’ as part of the annual GP Patient Survey for NHS England. 

The survey asks participants for their feedback on several points, including the ease of phone contact, whether they get to see their preferred GP and more. 

It was Cranham Village Surgery in Ingrebourne Gardens that has performed the best out of the borough’s practices.

According to NHS England, 92.4 per cent of patients reported having an overall positive experience at Cranham Village Surgery. 

Across each survey topic the results remained high, with 97.71 per cent of respondents feeding back that they found receptionists to be helpful. 

Abbamoor Surgery in Harold Hill Health Centre was not far behind as the second best rated GP surgery, receiving 91.06 per cent of overall positive experience responses. 

Oak Road Surgery in Harold Wood took the third top spot, with 90.79 per cent of patients reporting they had a positive overall experience with Dr Chowdhury. 

Best Havering GP surgeries as rated by patients

  1. Cranham Village Surgery, Ingrebourne Gardens – 92.4 per cent
  2. Abbamoor Surgery, Harold Hill Health Centre – 91.06 per cent
  3. Oak Road Surgery, Oak Road – 90.79 per cent
  4. Hornchurch Healthcare Surgery, Billett Lane – 88.39 per cent
  5. Haiderian Medical Centre, Corbets Tey Road – 88.26 per cent
  6. Modern Medical Centre, The Surgery, Rush Green Road – 88.1 per cent
  7. Western Road Medical Centre, Western Road – 87.16 per cent
  8. The Surgery (Dr VM Patel), Glanville Drive – 84.24 per cent
  9. Rush Green Medical Centre (Dr P & S Poologanathan) – 84.16 per cent
  10. Cranham Health Centre, Avon Road – 83.25 per cent
