Harvey Toci died aged 16 when a car came off Blake Hall Road and crashed in a ditch at around 12.20am on June 26.
The family who has been left grieving say all who knew him “will miss Harvey very much”.
His family said in a statement: “Harvey was a dearly loved son, brother and friend to everyone that knew him.
“Harvey worked as a barber with his dad for a year.
“He enjoyed cars, spending time with his family and friends, gaming and playing football.(Image: Essex Police)
“All the family members and friends will greatly miss Harvey very much.
“We request to be left alone and allowed to grieve at this very difficult time.”
Three teenagers were all arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
A 19-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy have been released on bail while a 17-year-old boy has been released under investigation.
