On September 27, St Clare Hospice will host its night walk in Epping for the first time.
Walkers will start at Epping St John’s School at 9pm and will go on a five-mile route through the town.
The event, which will help raise money for St Clare Hospice, will finish at Epping St John’s School, with parking available on site.
Rosie Brewer, events relationship fundraiser at St Clare Hospice, said: “This is more than just a walk – it’s a celebration of community, friendship, and the incredible work of St Clare Hospice.
“It’s going to be a night to remember, and every step helps us continue to be there for local families when they need us most.”
The event is open to anyone aged 12 and over.
Those who wish to attend can register by visiting stclarehospice.org.uk/nightwalk.
Tickets cost £20 each, or £72 for a group of four.
Walkers will be provided with a free drink, a St Clare branded T-shirt, and a Night Walk finisher’s medal as a “token of appreciation” for their efforts.
Fancy dress is encouraged and flashing and glow-in-the-dark accessories will be available to buy on the night.
