The proposal is among the latest lodged with Havering Council, which we’ve rounded up below.

The plan, submitted for 41 Mawney Road in the Rush Green & Crowlands ward, seeks permission to change the use of the property from a residential dwelling (Class C3(a)) to a large HMO (Class SG) (ref: P0753.25).

If approved, the building could accommodate up to eight residents.

Meanwhile, several domestic extensions and upgrades have been proposed across the borough.

In Cranham, 22 Ashburnham Gardens is seeking approval to replace an existing conservatory with a single-storey rear extension (ref: P0760.25).

Over in Elm Park, 159 St Andrews Avenue could see a two-storey side extension, a single-storey rear extension and the erection of a garage (ref: P0758.25).

Another proposal in the same ward – at 36 Maylands Avenue – is seeking permission for a first-floor side and rear extension (ref: P0774.25).

In Beam Park, a front extension is on the cards for 36 Spencer Road, Rainham (ref: P0785.25), with the design led by Keenan Project Designs Ltd of Leamington Spa.

And in Emerson Park, 87 Nelmes Crescent could undergo a garage conversion to create habitable space under new plans.
